Only Thanksgiving stands between now and what is arguably the most intense shopping day of the year — Black Friday.

For those who intend on taking full advantage of the deals that local stores will be offering on Friday, here is a shopping guide to help with your planning:

Firewheel Town Center
With restaurants, a movie theater and over 125 stores, the Firewheel Town Center in Garland will be extending its holiday hours for Black Friday shoppers. The shopping center will be open from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. the day after Thanksgiving, and many of the stores will be offering a variety of deals, which you can learn more about here.

NorthPark Center
The mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday, and its stores will be offering a variety of deals. In addition to the shopping madness, NorthPark Center will have Santa Claus, The Salvation Army Band, nine-foot tall toy soldiers and more on hand to get the holiday season started off right. Visit www.NorthParkCenter.com for more information.

Valley View Center
On Friday, the Valley View Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., but some stores will be open even longer, such as JC Penny, which will be extending its hours to 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Santa will also be on site from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information about the shopping center’s hours and deals, visit www.ShopValleyViewCenter.com.
