 s now a locally owned second generation establishment. The shop is current
 ly operated by Ginger Kerr Collier. \nJim Kerr served on the Allen School
  Board for 24 Years and has an elementary named after him-Kerr Elementary.
   Along with Mayor Joe Farmer\, Jim Kerr represents the city of Allen on t
 he North Texas Municipal Water District Board of Directors.     \n The Tex
 as Treasure Business Award (TTBA) program is an initiative of the Communit
 y Heritage Division. Created in 2005 by Senate Bill 920\, authored by Sen.
  Leticia Van de Putte of San Antonio and sponsored by Rep. Charles "Doc” A
 nderson of Waco\, the program pays tribute to the state’s well-established
  businesses and their exceptional historical contributions to communities
