DESCRIPTION:DALLAS\, July 2024 – The inaugural DIFF SHORTS Film Festival ha
 s been confirmed for August 23 through 25 at Angelika Film Center & Café l
 ocated in Mockingbird Station. With a goal of elevating short films and ce
 lebrating shorts filmmakers\, DIFF SHORTS Film Festival 2024 will feature
  14 film blocks with more than 80 films\, industry panels\, daily red carp
 ets\, and filmmaker receptions. \nFilm enthusiasts will be able to connect
  with filmmakers through Q&As and panel discussions\, learn about their cr
 eative processes\, and be inspired by their stories shown on the big scree
 n and shared at the festival. Awards at the DIFF SHORTS Film Festival 2024
  will be given for Best Short Film\, Best Texas Film\, Best Music Video\,
  Best Student Film\, Best Documentary Film\, and Best First-Time Filmmaker
 \, with the full schedule of films set to be announced August 1. \nSupport

 ational\, and entertaining film experiences for all through year-round pro
 grams\, including an educational screening and talk series for area high s
 chool students with industry professionals\; free advance screenings of ne
 w films for subscribers\, volunteers\, sponsors\, supporters\, and the pub
 lic\; film series in collaboration with community partners\; and other uni
 que events ranging from film premieres to classic film anniversary celebra
 tions. The signature film festivals of DIFF are the Dallas International F
