WHAT: Lakewood Brewing Co. will welcome musician Justin Moyar to the beergarden stage Monday, who brings his own unique spin on jazz fusion by combining it with blues and folk riffs. Known for creating music that resonates his advocacy for change and awareness, Moyar brings the underlining conscience of the world to the mind’s surface on his latest album “Reconnect”, a perfectly balanced way to kick off a week of giving thanks.
This year’s lineup of fall and winter beers ranges from seasonal favorite, Punkel, to Salted Caramel Temptress, a twist on Lakewood’s classic top-selling Temptress milk stout. The 20 new releases will be sold market-wide including the always popular Temptress Seduction six-pack, which this year includes returning Sin Mint Temptress, the new NuTemptress, and another returning favorite, French Quarter Temptress.
Lakewood recently opened its first-ever kitchen featuring appetizers, salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, and sweets, many that have tastes of Lakewood fan favorite beers. The North Texas brewery and taproom just celebrated a decade of making Seriously Fun Beer, also recently updated its sweeping covered outdoor beergarden and added new booths, seating and murals throughout. Their new “Lakewood Loft” is a speakeasy-inspired private event space with a bird’s eye view of Lakewood’s massive tanks below.
