Little farmers can celebrate the season during Fall Harvest at Heritage Farmstead Museum. Children can take a wagon ride around the four-acre farm, make a fall craft to take home and milk Buttermilk the mechanical cow.
Designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups, Little Farmer Friday is most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5. Families can also hear a story, meet the farm animals and enjoy time on the farm. Activities run from 10 a.m. to noon, and the farm grounds remain open until 2 p.m. Families are welcome to bring lunch or a snack to enjoy on the farm.
Museum members at the Family level or higher receive one free adult ticket with the purchase of a child’s ticket. Events often sell out, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
