Help with tornado relief efforts

First Baptist Church of Richardson leaders have been in contact with churches and organizations in Rowlett and Garland and have identified three primary ways we can partner with them in the relief work.

Donate gift cards or tubs
Help FBCR respond to the needs of tornado victims by donating storage tubs and gift cards this Wednesday to FBCR Admin Office between 9-6 PM. Gift cards (with amount designated) have been requested for Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and Lowes. Items will be delivered to our partners at FBC Rowlett who are working directly with victims of the tornado.

Volunteer with cleanup

Our missionaries Charlie and Jennifer Michalik work with Thirst No More (TNM), a relief agency serving all over the world. Beginning next week, TNM will be in Rowlett assisting with cleanup. No training is required. Just bring weather-appropriate clothes and shoes, as well as gloves. Email charlie@thirstnomore.org to volunteer with cleanup next week.

Volunteer with donation storage

C3 Church in Rowlett is using their sanctuary for item distribution. They need six people on Saturday at 3:00 pm to help move all their donated items into storage for the night so they can set up for Sunday morning worship. Then Sunday they’ll be moving everything back into the sanctuary. If you’d like to help on Saturday, email Ron Evans (revans@fbcr.org).
