In a world sometimes filled with anxiety and concerns, Christmas brings a message of hope. First United Methodist Church Richardson invites you to celebrate that hope with us. Individuals and families are invited to join us for one of our five different worship services.

1:00 pm is our ACCESS modern worship service featuring a contemporary band and special music with candlelight and communion.

The Christmas Pageant is at 4:00 pm, which is a favorite for those with young children and grandchildren. The pageant includes adults and children in a spirited retelling of the Biblical Christmas story. This service also concludes with candlelight.

Our traditional worship services will begin at 6:00 pm with a Chancel Choir, traditional hymns, a message from our senior pastor and candlelight.  Then at 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, we will also serve communion.

Those of all ages are invited to attend our services. Childcare is available for those 3 years and younger at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

We have a covered drop-off area for your convenience. Shuttles will be running throughout our parking lots and the parking lot of the Richardson YMCA from 3:30 -11:30 pm.

When you arrive, at the front doors and in the lobby, there will be greeters wearing red sashes. They are there to welcome you, answer any questions you may have or provide directions.
