"A Home of Their Own", a cocktail party & fundraiser benefitting Take Me Home Pet Rescue, will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased at www.ahomeoftheirown.org , and all are invited.

According to  Executive Director Elise Bissell, "We’re committed to not only saving the lives of animals, but improving their lives by reducing overpopulation and placing them in loving, forever homes. We can only do this because of the generous support of our donors and through fundraising events such as “A Home Of Their Own”.  We are very excited about the event and look forward to seeing even more people there this year!”

The fun-filled evening includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres, $500 in gambling money, raffles and hundreds of items to bid on. Plus, you’ll be able to try your hand in a variety of casino games (roulette, Craps  and Blackjack).  Guests will listen to the sweet sounds of Jimmy Barcus and mingle with a host of people from all over the Metroplex!  Hundreds of incredible Silent Auction items and the night will also be available for bidding. Guests will find gift cards, golf items, jewelry, sports tickets and much more!

About Take Me Home Pet Rescue

Founded in 2008 and located in Richardson, Texas, Take Me Home Pet Rescue (TMHPR) is a 100% nonprofit organization committed to reducing our homeless pet overpopulation. Since its inception, Take Me Home Pet Rescue has saved over 3,000 animals!  TMHPR does all this solely through donations made throughout the year and through fundraisers such as this one. With your support TMHPR is able to take animals from overcrowded shelters and provide them with the appropriate medical care and a loving foster home where they can learn to enjoy life again.  The proceeds of this gala will allow TMHPR to continue to make a difference in the pet community through owner education, foster-based rescue and help more animals and find loving, forever homes.
