Increasing Our Impact

In an effort to make it easier and more efficient for Texans to apply for and manage their HHSC benefits, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) partnered with Network.

Thru an HHSC web portal, we assist clients with online application of:

  • SNAP; food benefits
  • Medicaid
  • CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program)
  • Long-term care services
  • Medicare Savings Programs
    • Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries (QMB)
    • Special Low-Income Medicare Beneficiaries (SLMB)
    • Qualifying Individuals (QI-1)
    • Qualified Disabled and Working Individuals (QDWI)
    • TANF cash help for families

Since March 11, 2014 to October 2014, Network served over 250 clients. This number is growing exponentially.

For the above time-frame, program enrollments were as follows:

  • SNAP; food benefits = 206
  • Medicaid = 36
  • TANF = 7
  • CHIP = 1

In addition to the aforementioned benefits, Network provides Community-based referrals to address a myriad of client needs and enrollment assistance with the Federal Healthcare Market Place (ACA).

We are proud that Network’s CPP commands a high degree of trust and satisfaction by the people it serves!

Network’s Client Navigator is guided by its Mission statement which is to “care, coach, and empower our neighbors in need as they seek an improved quality of life.” Moreover, our “Holistic” approach ensures that clients are assisted in a meaningful way while fostering independence/self-sufficiency!
