The Richardson business community will find a worthwhile excuse to ditch the office and use the day for networking over golf this fall. The Richardson Chamber of Commerce 26th Annual Golf Classic, sponsored by Amegy Bank, will tee off Friday, Oct. 4 at Canyon Creek Country Club.
Player check-in, boxed lunches from the club, and registration all begin at 11 am. There will be a shotgun start for all players beginning at 12:30 pm. A delicious awards dinner, donated by Ten50 BBQ, and raffle drawings will follow the tournament, generally starting at 6 p.m.
During play, participants will have the opportunity to network with fellow chamber members, business leaders, civic leaders and their guests while playing one of the top-ranked municipal courses in the Metroplex. A number of fun and exciting contests will be held on the course, including the traditional longest drive, and closest-to-the-pin competitions. Golfers will also have an opportunity to win a new car if they make a hole-in-one. The car will be provided by our sponsor Courtesy Nissan in Richardson.
A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Junior Achievement Dallas, which is located in Richardson.
The Chamber is seeking sponsors for the tournament with a variety of sponsor levels and engagement opportunities available. Major sponsor levels include: awards ceremony sponsor, snack or beverage sponsor, range ball sponsor, plus more. Each major sponsor will receive player spots in the tournament plus recognition in promotional materials.
Hole sponsorships are available for $750. This level has great benefits and allows you to meet and interact with each player as they come through the course.
