This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Richardson Parade!  We are proud to be carrying on this unique tradition since Richardson High School is the only school in the RISD to host a parade!  Mark your calendars and plan on involving your kiddos for a unique and fun experience for the whole family, October 9th, 4:00pm.

This year's theme is "Welcome to the Circus."  We have over 100 entries, and over 1000 student participants from all of the local schools in the area.  The parade route travels West from Floyd Road to Dogwood. (Heights Elementary to Richardson High School)  North side of Belt Line for viewing.

October 9th at 4pm

We would love to see you there!

Parade Entries:

If you would like to enter a float or group, the entry fee (from each parade participant) is a clothing donation to the RISD Clothes Closet. They serve over 300 families each year.  This year the clothes closet is in need of boys underwear (specifically boys boxer briefs), but nothing larger than size 36. as well as ladies size 5 and little ones size 4, boys and girls. Also, girls 6, 12, 14.  Obviously, no donation will be refused.
