On Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, Richardson-based Vent-A-Hood, the company that created the modern residential range hood, dedicated its showroom and learning center in honor of the late Edward C. Gober, a beloved past employee of the company who started the Vent-A-Hood training program in the mid-1990s. The Edward C. Gober Training Center is where the company hosts distributors weekly to educate them about Vent-A-Hood’s patented technology and innovative range hoods.
