Former Cowboys Greg Ellis to headline The Heights Super Sunday services Feb 5

Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Ellis will speak February 5th in the 9:15 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. services at The Heights Church in Richardson.

“We are excited to have Greg share his story,” said John Wills, executive pastor at The Heights. “Greg is a man of integrity who stresses the importance of keeping God first. We’re inviting the community to join us. We’re keeping it casual and inviting our people to wear their favorite team jersey. No, it doesn’t have to be a Cowboys jersey. In fact, they can wear their favorite MLB, NHL, or even college spirit wear. We’ll have 10 food trucks in our front parking lot serving lunch after the services. Guests can check in at our Welcome Center to receive free lunch tickets.”

Greg Ellis was drafted in 1998 by the Dallas Cowboys after graduating from the University of North Carolina. He played for the Cowboys from 1998 - 2008 and was a starter his entire career with the Cowboys. Ellis was selected for the 2007 Pro Bowl in Hawaii. In 2009, Ellis played for the Oakland Raiders. In 2010 he retired from the NFL to start businesses in the areas of faith, software, sports and production. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart Tangie Ellis and they are proud parents of three children.
