Between Richardson and its opponent, Frisco Wakeland, more than 1,000 yards were complied on Friday night. However, more than 600 of those yards went in favor of Frisco Wakeland, which steamrolled over Richardson, 61-24. The Richardson defense was no match for Frisco Wakeland quarterback Jackson Lamb, who threw for 342 yards and five touchdowns.

Dual-threat quarterback Yedidiah Louis led the way for Richardson Berkner in their 48-19 dismantling of North Garland High School. Louis was effective both through the air and on the ground. He passed for 249 yards and two touchdowns and was also the team's leading rusher with 87 yards and three touchdowns.

Myers dominated both air and ground, with 307 yards and three touchdowns passing and 195 yards and three touchdowns rushing.
