Wildflower Patio and Grill Supports Richardson Charities for North Texas Giving Day

North Texas Giving Day is coming up on September 14. Wildflower Patio and Grill has chosen 14 Richardson-based nonprofits to support as a FUNraiser leading up to this Big Day! Starting August 28 up to September 13, the restaurant will donate 50 cents per lunch and $1 per dinner entree to the charity of choice from the list below. To participate, ask for a ballot from your server.

The restaurant chose nonprofits serving our Richardson community, plus they are all registered with North Texas Giving Day (NTGD). Each organization will be featured on daily Facebook postings. Please encourage friends to dine at Wildflower over the next two weeks to support the work of these fine organizations.

RULES:
1.    Diners must ask for a ballot from their server.
2.    One vote per entrée.
3.    Guests may dine as often as they like from August 28 to September 13.
4.    ONLY ONE of the fourteen nonprofits will receive a donation on September 14 through the North Texas Giving Day. This is a winner-take-all contest.
5.    Votes will be tallied on the evening of September 13 and posted on the morning of September 14.

NOTE: We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 4.

Best wishes to everyone who participates! Click on the links below to find out more about these fine organizations.

When you give through North Texas Giving Day, the Communities Foundation of Texas provides a percentage of matching funds, so your gift has even greater impact. Since 2009, Communities Foundation of Texas' North Texas Giving Day has pumped more than $156 million, for over 2,500 local nonprofits, into the North Texas Community. In 2016, $37 million was raised through more than 142,000 gifts benefiting 2,518 nonprofits.

Wildflower Patio and Grill (WPG) is located in the heart of Canyon Creek, at the corner of Lookout and Custer Parkway inside the II Creeks Shopping Center, directly across from the Canyon Creek Country Club. WPG is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner from Monday through Saturday. Locally owned by Richardson residents, WPG features Modern Texas Cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The patio is the most beautiful in the North Texas area, and offers more live music than any other restaurant venue in Richardson. For twelve years, the restaurant (formerly Marcus Cafe) has served our community, and has earned consistently good reviews. WPG has been featured in Richardson Living Magazine’s list of favorite restaurants. To find out more, visit www.wildflowerpatioandgrill.com or visit the Facebook Page.
