J.J. Pearce Wrestling
J.J. Pearce's growing wrestling program experienced a successful season, producing five regional qualifiers, two alternates, and two state qualifiers.  The program grew in 2016-2017 adding fifteen to twenty participating athletes.  The athletes are learning the commitment of time and focus that is needed to be a wrestler at the top level.

Mustangs who earned a spot in the regional competition after logging successful district performances are:  Barak Levy, Josh Kiesling, Aaron Goldman, Alec Burnworth, and Zach Levine.  Alternates are Eddie Huerta and Josh Abeyta.

The two Mustang wrestlers who will represent J.J. Pearce High School at the state competition in Cypress, Texas  are Josh Kiesling and Aaron Goldman.

The J.J. Pearce wrestling Head Coach is Mark Furgeson.  "Wrestling is a sport which takes strong discipline, personal drive, and passion.  The work ethic that I see in the mat room pushes me to work harder as a coach and mold these kids to become strong young men and women on and off the mat.   I'm really proud of the Mustang Wrestlers and all of the parents, friends, fans, and community that have helped make us a success."

Coach Furgeson is looking to continue the development of the program and growing the program by working with the student athletes in the area junior highs. Students at Richardson North and Parkhill  will be able to participate in training at their school and finish the season with a scrimmage.
J.J. Pearce will also host a summer wrestling camp.
