First United Methodist Church Richardson, in partnership with the Richardson YMCA and First Baptist Church Richardson, has a multitude of summer camps for kids.  Most of these opportunities are half-day camps, available to children 5-12 years of age.

There are sports camps for your young athlete including basketball, dodgeball, soccer, baseball and volleyball. Each of these camps are led by coaches who have a passion for the game and want to share that love with children. Camps are located on the sports fields behind First United Methodist Church Richardson, at the Richardson YMCA or in the gym at First Baptist Church Richardson.

Arts and music camps are available for the young photographer, artist, actor and musician in your family. Many of these camps have a performance or showcase day to end the week.

One of our most popular camps is Music Makers. This is an intense week of singing, dancing, acting and more in which the kids learn a musical and then perform that show on Sunday morning during the 9:45 and 11:00 am worship services of FUMCR.

We have at least one camp scheduled each week of the summer between June 6 and  August 11. The opportunities are many to work around summer vacations and other events. Most camps are $80-$90 before June 1.
