Last week in Best of BubbleLife, we asked our readers to name the best place to run into friends. Responses ranged from grocery stores to high school football games; readers voted for local churches, parks and recreation centers.

According to our survey, you should never visit these places without your makeup on and hair done.

Watters Creek in Allen

This shopping center also won Best Place to Shop in Allen. Watters Creek offers more than shopping — you'll find Fine Cigars, Savour Tasting Room & Social Club and The Cheesecake Factory.

Mi Cocina in Lake Highlands and the Park Cities

This “uniquely upscale” restaurant also won Best Mexican Food in the Park Cities. Not only is it the local place to see and be seen, Mi Cocina offers homemade salsa and dangerously delicious margaritas.  

Central Market in Preston Hollow

Central Market also won Best Grocery store in the Park Cities and Southlake, probably because of the cheese section. At this store, you will feel like a French chef, even if you’re buying pre-made meals.
