Taste of II Creeks to Showcase Methodist Richardson Medical Center

The Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation is partnering with the Plaza at II Creeks for Taste of II Creeks on Wednesday, September 4  from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Restaurants and merchants at the center at 2701 Custer Parkway will be staying open later to provide an opportunity for area residents to find out more about the Methodist Richardson expansion currently under construction at the Bush/Renner campus.

Popular restaurants Frankie’s Mexican Cuisine, Shady’s Burger Joint and Marcus Café will be donating 10% of the evening’s proceeds to the Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation. All funds raised will stay in the community to provide quality and compassionate health care. Additionally, participating retail merchants at the center will be staying open until 8 p.m. and will have information available about the hospital.

“We’re honored that Plaza at II Creeks has been willing to host this event to help us spread the word about the new campus,” said Kim Hanna Hollwedel, Director of Development, Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation. “With the completion of the four-story acute care hospital in June 2014, enhanced health care services will be offered to residents in Richardson, Garland, Murphy, Plano, Sachse, Wylie and surrounding areas.”

Nestled among mature live oak trees encircling the property, Plaza at II Creeks is located at the corner of Custer Rd and Lookout, just south of Renner Rd. in the Canyon Creek neighborhood of Richardson.
