The countdown is on for Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation’s annual Yellow & Black Tie Gala. The November 16 soiree will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson and all proceeds will stay in the community, directly benefiting Methodist Richardson Medical Center. Proceeds from this event enable the Foundation to provide funding for both the Methodist Richardson Medical and Cancer Centers and patient care services.

The evening’s events include silent and live auctions, a putting contest, specialty Martinis, dinner and dancing.

This year’s Legacy Award recipient is long time Richardson resident, Patti Henry. The Legacy award recognizes individuals or corporations who have made a difference in the community through their ongoing commitment, gifts and leadership. This year’s Gala Chair is community steward, Brenda Duckett.

The emcee for the evening is retired Black Hawk Pilot, Elizabeth McCormick. Dr. Clayton Oliphint, of First United Methodist Church, Richardson, will be the special speaker at the event.

Major sponsors of the 2013 Yellow & Black Tie Gala include Fujitsu and Ericsson. To purchase a table or tickets, visit http://www.methodisthealthsystem.org/YellowBlackTieGala.
