The Richardson Public Library located at 411 West Arapaho Road will be closed Friday, March 8, 2013 while construction crews install a new water chiller on top of the four story building.

A crane will be used to lift the chiller on to the roof of the facility. During the process, the building must be vacated for safety reasons. Access to the library’s outdoor book return will also be blocked, and all materials due the day of the closure will not be penalized for late fees.

People are encouraged to contact the Richardson Public Library at 972-744-4350 for any further questions regarding the closure or impacts on late fees or other programs.
