The Warren Center, a nonprofit agency providing professional evaluations, therapy services and support to children with developmental delays and disabilities recently hosted a Spring in the Park event for children and their families to celebrate spring in a sensory-friendly way. Families served by The Warren Center were invited to Breckenridge Park to participate in fun activities for the entire family including a bubble bus, food from Austin’s UnderDawgs Food Truck and much more.
“For more than 15 years, the Warren Center has made a concerted effort to host events like Spring in the Park, to provide the children we serve with sensory-friendly fun for their entire family,” says Amy Spawn, Executive Director of The Warren Center. “It is our vision that each child is able to reach their full potential. To that end, we have created environments where they can feel free to be themselves.”
Throughout the year, The Warren Center hosts educational programs and services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental services, nutrition, family education and support for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
