The City of Richardson Arts Commission invites Richardson residents to participate in a Tuesday, Feb. 19 public meeting to provide vital input on the community’s first-ever Cultural Arts Master Plan.

The draft plan, which has been in the works since 2010, was developed by the Richardson Arts Commission in partnership with Lord Cultural Resources, a global professional practice dedicated to creating cultural capital worldwide.

The Cultural Arts Master Plan has been developed to strengthen the arts community in Richardson by building synergies among the various performance arts groups and enhancing the existing arts facilities in the area.

The draft of the Cultural Arts Master Plan is available for review on the City’s website here.

The event is open to the public and walk-ins are welcome; however, those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by Monday, Feb. 18 to 972-744-4209 or kimberly.sheldon@cor.gov in order for meeting organizers to make necessary preparations.

The Richardson City Hall/Civic Center is located at 411 West Arapaho Road, Richardson, TX 75083 and will be in Richardson Room.
