A free Job Search Workshop by the Career Transition Ministry (CTM) team of Dallas will be held 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, September 28 at The Heights Church, 201 W. Renner Rd. at US-75 in Richardson. This free event is open to the community and is focused on those who are unemployed, underemployed, nervously employed or planning to be better prepared for their next job transition.
Free lunch and materials are provided. The all-day workshop will teach proven job search skills, including:
- finding your job focus
- resume critique and development
- using the Internet and Social Media for job search
- effective networking skills
- creating a 30-second elevator presentation
- interviewing techniques
- developing a 2-minute verbal resume and more.
Over the past 15 years, the CTM team has taught job search skills to thousands and worked one-on-one with hundreds of job seekers.
