Open to the public starting next week, Shady's Burger Joint (aka Shady's Burgers and Brewhaha) will feature hand-formed certified angus beef patties on an eclectic menu of unique, locally crafted specialty burgers and sandwiches made fresh to order. Shady’s General Manager, Chris Harrelson, hopes the burger joint will become a gathering place for the neighborhood and beyond.

"We always wanted a place in the neighborhood where we could meet for a great burger and a conversation," said Harrelson. "So we finally just pulled together and made one ourselves. Of course, it doesn't hurt that these are some of the best burgers in town!"

The menu features a wide variety of options such as The Hood, the Porta-Mellow and El Shady: a certified angus beef burger topped with chorizo, a fried egg, fresh cheddar cheese and grilled jalapenos. Four piled-high-and-deep salads satisfy the lighter side and melt-in-your-mouth fries, chicken tenders, and wings round out the menu. Everything at Shady’s is made-to-order with fresh ingredients.

Guests will also enjoy a full-service bar with unique specialty cocktails. All bar selections including beer, wine and cocktails are rotated frequently and seasonally with unique price points of "Good, Better & Best." The inviting space includes roll-up garage doors, and hinged windows along the bar combine with a massive outdoor patio to invite al fresco dining just in time for Spring.

Shady’s Burger Joint will be open to the public next week, and plans for a grand opening are currently being finalized.
