On Saturday, October 13, between 10:00 a.m. till noon, the J.J. Pearce Mighty Mustang Band will be marching and performing in the shopping centers and neighborhoods surrounding Pearce High School.

Why are they doing this? To keep doing what they do best, and to remain competitive in their new Class 5A ranking, the band must raise funds and collect donations with the support of generous neighbors and businesses.

Students will collect pledges and accept donations along the route of the March-a-thon to raise money for the out-of-state 2014 band trip, program fees, instruments, and to cover costs of their expanded color guard program.

Neighbors are invited to come out, cheer on the Mighty Mustang Band and hear some wonderful music as the band parades through northwest Richardson.
