It'll be a nice, long weekend for students in the Richardson Independent School District.

RISD schools will be closed on Monday, October 8 for a "Fair Day Holiday." Students will also get an extra day off on Tuesday, October 9. Teachers and other employees will report on Tuesday for a "Staff Development Day."

Classes will resume Wednesday, October 10. Click here for the RISD calendar.
