The Richland College Theatre Department will present "The Dining Room," at 7:30 p.m. on May 1-4. A comedy of manners, A.R. Gurney's play explores American life as it unfolds in that all-important gathering place -- the dining room. Delving into family relationships, traditions and lifestyles, "The Dining Room" is a series of 18 swiftly-moving scenes that introduce the audience to a wide range of characters and stories portrayed by six actors. "The Dining Room" is rated "mature" for language.

Richland will stage "The Dining Room" in its black box Arena Theatre, lending to the personal atmosphere of the play. Admission to "The Dining Room" is free, but seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Seating will begin at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. in Arena Theatre, Room F108 of Fannin Hall. Richland College is located at 12800 Abrams Road in Dallas.
