Richardson City Hall experienced a water pipe break overnight that resulted in flooding to parts of City Hall, causing a temporary disruption in services this morning. Affected departments and services include Building Inspection, Community Services and the City’s Health Department.

The impacted departments have had temporary locations established in City Hall and are available to provide most services.

City Hall is open and visitors are asked to use the west entrance of the building.

The Water Customer Service Department is able to process all payments, but customers paying with a credit card are encouraged to pay online at www.cor.net.

The City is taking action to mitigate the water damage and restore access to the affected departments and services. In the meantime, residents are advised to call City Hall at 972-744-4100 or to check the City website at www.cor.net for further status updates.

The City is alerting residents and businesses to the temporary service outage through its website, e-mail alerts, social media postings and local media outreach. The City expects to restore access to the affected departments and services by Monday.
