Cora ter Kulie and her dad, Robert

Last week, fourth graders at Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) celebrated Dads Day. This was an opportunity for fathers of fourth graders to join their students for lunch, learning and fellowship in the classroom. Each student had the opportunity to show off to his or her dad and display their recent projects, accomplishments, works of art and more. The students introduced their dads to the class, and then each father took the time to give a brief speech about his child, sharing special memories and positive character qualities he saw growing in their son or daughter. Dads Day is a special memory for dads and their kids, in addition to a great time of affirmation for students to hear their fathers speaking about them publicly to their peers.
