BROTHERS WITH ENTREPENURIAL SPIRIT

It’s all B’s for the Bowden Brothers – British, baseball, brothers, Bowdens and business.  Austin, age 17 and Gavin Bowden, age 15 of Richardson have started a t-shirt business in order to raise funds for all of the international travel that is required for playing with Great Britain baseball teams.

Both boys were featured in the Dallas Morning News article last March regarding their acceptance onto the Great Britain National Baseball Team.  They played for the team in Florida this past summer and have been asked to Spring Training in Italy and to Prague for a European Qualifier and possibly, for the European Championship in July.

Austin and Gavin have started to sell t-shirts with the British Swag theme as their first design.  Austin explains, “With the generous donation of two iPads, we were able to start our business.  I hope that we are able to grow our business from this and turn it into something great!”

The Bowden brothers currently play baseball for Richardson High School and The Dallas Mustangs.

Their website features their t-shirts, a blog and calendar of local British events.  Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or their web site – www.bowdenbrothers.com
