RHS Theatre presents the first show of the 2014-15 season, with the World Premier of "Wunderland" by Cliff McClelland. It’s down the rabbit hole again for Alice, but this time, things are different. Characters from outside Wonderland, like Jim Hawkins from Treasure Island and a stranger from Frankenstein begin pushing their ways into her story, searching for respite from something frightening that is coming from the east. Soon, all of them are being pursued by the Red Queen’s card soldiers and hiding in attics in fear of their lives. Even in today’s liberal society, we must be constantly reminded that terror can only be a few burned books away.
Shows are October 2, 4 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. and October 4 and 5 at 2 p.m. in the RHS Auditorium . Tickets are on sale now at www.rhstheatre.org. Ticket prices are $8 for Adults and $6 for Students and Seniors. Some of the material in this performance may not be appropriate for younger children. The performance has been rated as PG-13.
