The League of Women Voters of Richardson and the Richardson Independent School District Council of PTAs will hold a candidates forum for candidates vying for Texas House District 102. The meeting will be held on October 8, 2014 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the small gym at Westwood Junior High School, 7630 Arapaho Road, in Dallas. 

The candidates in ballot order are Linda Koop, Republican and George M. Clayton, Democrat.

The candidates will be given the opportunity to make comments as to why they should be voted in as District 102 representative. They will also answer questions from the audience. Questions can be submitted in advance by sending them to voterservice@lwvrichardson.org. Emailed questions will be given the same consideration as questions submitted at the event. The questions will be screened according to League of Women Voters of Texas Guidelines.

The public is invited to this meeting that should provide guidance in deciding which candidate to send to Austin representing the people in District 102.

The meeting is funded by the League of Women Voters of Texas Education Fund through donations from Richardson area residents and businesses.
