AdvoCare Gives Back to Richardson ISD Teachers and Staff for Teacher Appreciation Week
The health and wellness company gave more than $4,000 in donations to RISD’s Merriman Park Elementary, Spring Creek Elementary, Lake Highlands Middle School and Lake Highlands High School
RICHARDSON, TEXAS – May 10, 2023 – As advocates who care, AdvoCare, a health and wellness company, sought out opportunities to give back to the classroom heroes in its hometown of Richardson, TX and support teachers and staff at four Richardson ISD (RISD) campuses in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Month. AdvoCare granted more than $4,000 to four schools in RISD – Merriman Park Elementary, Spring Creek Elementary, Lake Highlands Middle School and Lake Highlands High School.
As part of the celebration, AdvoCare set up on-site Spark® and Rehydrate® fountains in the teacher's lounge of each school, filling up their cups and giving away gift bags that include sample packs of Spark® and Rehydrate®, a box of their Probiotic FastMelt®, a Yumbar® and a sample packet of their new Spark® Orange Cream Float. They also held a raffle for the schools that participated, giving teachers a chance to win a bigger prize that consisted of more AdvoCare products, a large BOGG beach bag and a Stanley Cup® bearing the AdvoCare brand.
During the week of May 8-12, AdvoCare will be accepting nominations for classroom heroes, giving 25 teachers a mini-prize pack including an AdvoCare branded Stanley cup and Spark® and Rehydrate® packs. One grand prize winner will be selected to win a donation to their school, a Peloton® Bike or Tread with a one-year membership, a Bogg Bag®, an AdvoCare branded Stanley Cup® and an AdvoCare product bundle.
