“Industrial Revolution”

“It’s amazing to be able to explore a piece of the Industrial Revolution. Set against the blue sky, the deep red rust of the gigantic structures is a site to see. This furnace in Birmingham operated for nearly 100 years and employed thousands of people. Now a National Historical Landmark, it serves as a very interesting museum of industry. I was drawn to the beautiful lines, curves and colors creating an abstract quality in design.”

“With ‘New Bloom’ I aimed to capture the beauty of delicate white flowers in a stylized, modern way. The unique characteristics of painting with BeesWax, infuses the canvas with a sense of energy and movement, as if they are gently swaying in the breeze. The soft, soothing colors of the painting make it a calming presence in any room, while the lively energy of the flowers adds an uplifting touch.
