WHAT: Lakewood Brewing Co. is featuring local artists and toasting $2 cans and drafts of its Muy Importante and IPA Tuesday nights through December. Musicians that will be playing on the beergarden stage for the Tunes Tuesdays rotation include Kelsi Creek on Nov. 22, David Gates on Nov. 29, The Logo Brothers on Dec. 6, and Todd Youngblood on Dec. 13.

Lakewood’s Muy Importante is a perfect blend of a traditional light Mexican lager and a margarita – made with orange, lime, agave and a hint of Sea Salt, it deliciously has half the calories of a margarita. Lakewood’s IPA is not too bitter, not too sweet, and was voted best IPA in North Texas. Dallas’ own maker of the number one craft milk stout in Texas will also be pouring their current and special batches each week, many of which are currently available not only at the Lakewood Taproom, but also on shelves statewide.

The North Texas brewery and taproom recently opened its first-ever kitchen featuring appetizers, salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, and sweets, many that have tastes of Lakewood fan favorite beers. Lakewood, which just celebrated 10 years of making Seriously Fun Beer, also recently updated its sweeping covered outdoor beergarden and added new booths, seating and murals throughout. Their new “Lakewood Loft” is a speakeasy-inspired private event space with a bird’s eye view of Lakewood’s massive tanks below.
