A RHS Hotel Intern experiences five different career pathways during the school year. We rotate every six weeks into another career pathway. Each student is assigned a hotel mentor and receives managerial training with our local community partners: Marriott Courtyard/Residence in Richardson on Campbell and Renaissance Dallas Addison.
Each Intern gains an overall understanding of running a business. They practice customer service including #5CourtesyPhrases. Each Intern earns two credits while identifying/implementing learning opportunities in a real life and real time real world scenarios everyday.
All Interns gain marketable skills employers are looking for and are introduced to in-demand hotel occupations such as Audio Visual, Business Management, Finance, Hospitality, Human Services, Law and Marketing. All Interns build lasting professional and personal relationships.
