Clark Good, AP math teacher at Berkner High School, was one of the recipients of the TI STEM Award.
The Richardson Independent School District Excellence in Education Foundation recently held their Evening of Honors event, with the theme RISD’s Got Talent, to honor outstanding teachers and schools. More than $70,000 was raised for the Foundation at the event chaired by Sandra Hayes and co- chair Dina Gold- Cesario. Donna Shepard serving as honorary chair, and singer and RISD graduate Lyndsey Jones provided entertainment.
Those recognized at the Evening of Honors event included:
- Dr. Arzell Ball – Award of Excellence
- Richardson City Council – Leadership Award
- Ashley Nick, Wallace Elementary – Fujitsu Teacher Trailblazer Award
- Omar Pastrana, Richardson West Junior High- Metro PCS Engineering & Technology Award
- Arapaho Classical Magnet- Pogue Construction Award
- Chad Gilliland, Richardson High School-TI Foundation, Innovations in STEM Teaching Award
- Clark Good, Berkner High School- TI Foundation, Innovations in STEM Teaching Award
