Young Mens Service League of the Dallas/Richardson area (Dal-Rich YMSL) is an organization of young men in grades 9 through 12, who along with their mothers, volunteer for community service. Recently two high school senior members of the service league volunteered at Town Village North Dallas, a senior living community, to help out with Bingo Night. Residents of the senior living community come together a couple of times each week for a fun evening of social interaction playing bingo. YMSL boys and their mothers sign up to help facilitate the game as well talk with the residents each week. Town Village North Bingo Night is a favorite volunteer time for the YMSL boys who get a kick out of the lively senior living group.

YMSL of the Dallas/Richardson area (Dal-Rich Young Mens Service League) is an organization of young men in grades 9 - 12, and their mothers, from the Dallas and Richardson area who have a passion for community service. Over the labor day weekend, 12th grade boys and their mothers cooked and served a barbecue lunch to over 75 residents of Dickinson Place. The senior residents enjoyed barbecue brisket, sausage, baked beans, mashed potatoes, green salad, fruit, and desserts. The residents along with the boys and their mothers enjoyed a special time together.

For over 44 years, Dickinson Place has provided safe and affordable housing and programming to senior citizens. Dickinson Place is an outreach ministry of Highland Park United Methodist Church and is located in East Dallas. Dal-Rich YMSL provides volunteers to Dickinson Place for special events and needs.
