Network of Community Ministries (Network), founded in 1985, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a service area encompassing fourteen zip codes in Dallas County. Network helps community members to regain stability and provides access to strong programs that lead to self-sufficiency. Its mission is “to care, coach, and empower our neighbors in need as they seek an improved quality of life.” Network provides Emergency Services (Food, Clothing, Rent, Utilities and Information and Referral Services; Stabilization Programs (Case Management, Job Resource Center, GED classes, Financial Education and Benefits Assistance); Children's Programs (Dental Clinic, Toyland Express, Big Meals for Little Kids, Tools 4 School and Tooth Fairy Project); and Senior's Net (Handyman Program, Loads of Love, Holiday Baskets, Home food Deliveries and Companion Calls). Last year alone, Network provided over 41,000 units of service to nearly 10,000 unique individuals. Since its founding over 30 years ago, Network has impacted the lives of over 300,000 individuals.
